- Next Level: Dynamic Chassis Adaption: You can look forward to a real highlight in the Dynamic Chassis Adaption (DCA), the optional chassis for the new R 1300 RT that features variable spring rate setting, two individually adjustable damping modes, as well as two independent riding positions. The combination of two riding positions and the adaptable spring rate transforms your RT into two completely different motorcycles.

- Simply efficient: The Automatic Shift Assistant: The optional Automated Shift Assistant (ASA) takes touring to a new level. The automatic clutch operation and gearshifting offer an effortless ride – ideal for long distances. Switch to “D” mode for efficiency and precision, or retain control over gear changes in “M” mode. At the same time, your boxer engine delivers precise power, while the gentle gear changes provide a stable and comfortable ride.
- The Riding Assistant: The Riding Assistant gives you a tangible boost to comfort and confidence on every tour. Thanks to radar-based functions like Active Cruise Control (ACC) with brake function, you can enjoy a more relaxed ride, especially over long distances. The system allows you to configure a set speed and choose the distance that should be maintained between you and the vehicle ahead. A radar sensor detects vehicles up to 328 feet away and automatically adjusts the speed in order to maintain the distance selected. If the road is clear, the set speed remains constant.
- Smart equipment: Audio system and Connectivity Hub: With the Audio Pro sound system, you can set the tone – the quality speakers and 4-channel actuation with various sound profiles provide you with crystal-clear treble and rich bass – for an unforgettable sound experience on tour. - Even more flexible: The luggage system: The new luggage system sets new standards with respect to technology and comfort. The touring Vario case offers flexible volume adjustment, ensuring that you always have plenty of space for your gear. In conjunction with the central locking system, the system ensures the highest level of security with the option to securely lock the case, the storage compartment, and the topcase. Additionally, the cases have interior lighting, and the left-hand case has an integrated power socket.
